Africa Collective Prepares to Amplify Africa’s Voice at Davos 2025

As the global elite gather for the annual World Economic Forum in Davos, Africa Collective has unveiled its comprehensive program for Davos 2025, scheduled for January 20–24. With the theme “Leading in 2025: From Regional Consolidation to Driving the Global Africa Agenda,” the initiative seeks to elevate Africa’s influence on the global stage through dynamic sessions and high-level networking opportunities.


Highlighting Africa’s Leadership

The program will showcase over 50 distinguished speakers, including prominent leaders such as:

  • H.E. Wamkele Mene, Secretary General of the AfCFTA Secretariat
  • Prof. Benedict Oramah, President of Afreximbank
  • Sim Tshabalala, CEO of Standard Bank Group
  • Sanda Ojiambo, CEO of the United Nations Global Compact
  • H.E. Enoch Godongwana, South Africa’s Finance Minister

These visionaries, along with other global and pan-African leaders, will guide discussions on Africa’s role in shaping the future economic landscape.

  • Industrialization as a Catalyst for Africa’s Economic Strategy, exploring self-sufficiency and competitiveness (co-created with Afreximbank).
  • Infrastructure Investment: Paving the Way for Economic Growth, highlighting opportunities for transformative infrastructure (co-created with Standard Bank).
  • Fostering Innovation Through Partnerships, focusing on localization and capacity-building (co-created with Novartis).

Exclusive sessions, including deep dives at the Afreximbank Hub, will offer insights into trade, investment, and leadership strategies across the continent.

All activities will take place at the Africa Collective Hub, hosted at the Hard Rock Hotel Davos. Key spaces include:
